The last round of the Winter Series took place at Innerleithen last weekend.
The weather leading up to the race was awesome but the melting snow up top still meant the track was still very wet. The course was quite a long one due to a fairly flat top section and wound its way through some of the tightest tree gaps I've ever ridden – it seemed like you had to duck round a tree just to make half the corners.

Matti & Ruaridh in California

Here is a short video Jeff Steber took of Matti and Ruaridh on the Elsinore DH track whilst they were out in California a few weeks ago. They were testing prototype bikes that only the CRC team will use and test through out the 2010 season and there is no current plan for production.
I’ve just arrived in Benalmadena near Malaga for the next two weeks to get some testing on an our new prototype frame which is the 3rd generation M6 frame after the last 2 years of racing and some final tweaking of geometry, slight suspension and travel modifications that we feel will be perfect for the current World Cup race tracks. These are the bikes that the team shall be using for our world cup assault this year.
I was so stoked to be in the mountains again! Not like Whistler but I’ll take what I can get over here… Thredbo resort is the only lift access mountain bike park in
Australia. However, there is only one track and it’s a long one!
